Meditation and Mindfulness Practices in Everyday Life

Mindfulness practices, meditation being one of these, are universally beneficial, and I would love to work with anyone longing to bring more presence, fulfillment, and loving awareness into their day to day lives. My approach is one of empowerment. I believe we are all born with innate goodness and incredible potential to live from our deepest truth. Unfortunately, sometimes life experiences cause us to create an outer armor as a means of protection. Over time, this armor becomes incredibly heavy and starts to cloud our vision of the world.

Fortunately, the story doesn’t end there. Once we come to realize the heavy “baggage” we’re carrying around, we can learn how to shift our attention in a way that actually creates changes in our brain. Modern day neuroscience shows how the concept of neuroplasticity allows us to physically change our brains and nervous systems through focused attention and intentional practices such as meditation and mindful living.

Although I would love to work with anyone with a desire to learn these practices and live from a deeper wisdom, there are a few areas and populations that I have more personal and professional experience with and greater depth of knowledge. These are:

  • Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

  • Depression

  • Post-partum emotional support

  • Disordered eating patterns and poor body image

  • Military and Veterans

  • Chronic Disease

  • Athletes

    • Given my background in gymnastics and experience working in sports medicine, I have a passion for helping athletes. Learn more by clicking the button below!

  • Gymnasts

    • Once again, my background as a gymnast draws me to helping current and former gymnasts. I am particularly passionate about helping those in transition either within the sport (between levels, club to collegiate, or dealing with injury or illness) or the ultimate transition to life after sport.
